Q. Has anyone had any experience with the driving test in Ohio. Hopefully i will be there soon and would like to know what lies ahead Any info gratefully received

A. Here's the Ohio DMV web page. You need to make sure you read the Digest of Motor Vehicle Laws, because there is a multiple- choice written test and not all of them are common-sense. The test is in four parts: eyesight, written, maneuverability and driving. If you fail any part, then that's all you have to retake. You can show up for the eyesight and written test, and once you have passed these, you book the driving parts for the following week. Don't think of the driving part as a driving test. If you think of it as a stop-sign test, you will be fine. It's basically a drive around the block, but they will try to trick you with stop signs and lanes.
