Is Thomson - Education Direct courses recognized in Canada??

Q. I want to know if the postal/distance learning courses offerred by Thomson - Education Direct is recognized in Canada?? Well, they have a branch in Montreal and say that they are accredited by the Canadian Education and Training Accreditation Commission.. If somebody has followed any course through them, I would like to hear. In particular, I want to follow the Police Sciences course..

A. I have my doubts about the recognition of any disance learning course that is offered by a private for profit company. You have to ask your self if they are authorized by the provnce in which thay operate to issue diplomas. Never heard of the Commission you mention
