Q. Training Solutions - IT Training Show ? Training And Event Management ? Is anyone on here going to the Training Solutions - IT training show at the NEC on the 4th to 6th of July?

A. -I'm hoping to attend this year for the first time but I'm not sure which day. Previous years I have always managed to be training but I could be lucky this year. Is it worth going? Are there marketing opportunities for freelance trainers or does it tend to be more useful for finding out what the exhibitors are providing? -I write software and I found it useful last year to see what my competitors were doing. Some of the workshops were interesting and one of them was abysmal. I got some nice squashy balls which sit on my computer for throwing at the wall when I am programming and thinking. I will be attending this year so I must have found it interesting. There are plenty of books on sale and I found it interesting to see various companies products. I thought some of the stalls were a waste of time and some were very good at hiding what they were selling, I never understood why one of them had to set up a complete racetrack for BMX bikes along with boiler suits and chequered flags. -The Training Solutions Conference and the IT Training Conference are essential diary dates for anyone involved in other people's learning.
