Obtain SIN and pass the written driving test = overseas resident?

Q. My second Q is: If I just obtain the SIN and apply to a written driving test and say, pass. Then I go back to Hong Kong to work right after. Do I need to pay Canadian tax during the period I'm outside Canada? i.e can I treat myself still as an overseas resident (no need to pay Canadian tax). Thanks a lot.

A. Again the asnwer is no you would not be a resident of Canada from what you describe in your question.
